Tripod Head

There are many kind of tripod heads. For traveling, Yuval prefers a ball head because it is small, light and versatile. A single and easy to use control. The Manfrotto 486RC2 with its quick-release camera plate is just ideal. It is strong enough to hold the panoramic head with nodal point adapter, a light dSLR and a standard lens.

The only missing feature is a bubble level, that is easy to add. Unscrew the Rapid Connect System 2 plate from the ball and insert an alluminium plate in between. Fix the bubble level to the plate.
